Sarah struggled with her weight after gaining 20+ pounds in college. She was adamant about not “dieting” or restricting calories, so the weight stayed. She lost about 10 pounds when she discovered a love for exercise later in college. She continued to be active over the next several years, but she still did not modify her diet. The remaining 10 extra pounds didn’t budge. In 2013 she fell in love with HIIT workouts. She learned about nutrition and what an important role it plays in fat loss, muscle growth, and energy. Sarah finally decided to focus on her diet. After a just few weeks she noticed changes both physically and in her energy levels. Four months later she had lost those stubborn 10 pounds.
Sarah loves HIIT and continues to properly nourish her body. She continues to be impressed at how HIIT workouts have increased muscle and improved her performance in running, yoga, and any physical challenge. Sarah is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer.
